Featuring Nadia Lim
"that oven was so darn hot i burnt my eyebrows..." nadia lim
Nadia Lim is the winner of MasterChef Series Two.
At only 25 years old Nadia has been thrown in to the spotlight this week after beating rival Jax Hamilton on TV ONE's MasterChef final last Sunday night. The show has been a big hit in New Zealand, rating just as well as one of our favourites, Dancing with the Stars.
Nadia is a clinical dietitian by trade and has a special interest in diabetes. She's worked for the Heart Foundation and the Nutrition Foundation and says that she has always ‘been obsessed with food'.
Despite her obsession, knowing that there were 1,500 entering the competition at its first level, Nadia was not expecting to make it to the top twelve, let alone walk away with the title of ‘New Zealand's MasterChef'.
As part of the prize package she has won a cookbook deal, more exciting to Miss Lim than the car and the cash! As she is still working part time as a dietitian at the Diabetes Foundation, the cookbook to come is guaranteed to be packed full of good taste and good nutrition!
